Date Night

Tonight, Brian and I are going on a date, just the two of us!  I think the last time we went on a date it was to the flooring store to pick out our new floors.  I guess it wasn't so much a date as it was an outing out without children to spend a ridiculous sum of money.  But it's not the money spent I think of when I think of that night, it's the fact that Brian and I went somewhere alone. 

I think that is pretty sad.

So, tonight, we are heading out to dinner, we are going to have a glass of wine AND we are going to get some Christmas shopping done.   

All. By. Ourselves.

While Grandma stays home with the chickens.

I happen to think she's pretty lucky.

Last Sunday my girls were with my sister from the night before so Sunday morning he & I got up, went to brunch, shopping AND to the movie ALONE! Talk about pure bliss.

I love date nights. Our last one I fell asleep on the couch and he let me sleep for hours. I'm a hot date aren't I?
