Do the laundry.
Pack my clothes and a thousand pairs of shoes for the trip. (would you believe I tried on MORE jeans last night and bought another pair. I have issues.)
Fold Brian's clothes - since he tends to roll his clothes, rather than fold his clothes.
Pack the kids for the four night stay at Grandma's. (They could not be more excited.)
Clean my house for showings while we are gone. (Which may or may not happen.)
Try to go shopping to find the perfect jacket or sweater. (Why is it so hard to find this article of clothing?)
Finish watching Idol from last night. (who do you think is going home?)
Exercise. (I must win the challenge.)
Drink tons and tons of coffee. (thanks, McDonald's.)
Spend time with my kids. (The most important thing on my to-do list.)
Time for me to close my computer for a few hours and get to work and love on my kids. I have blogged here today.
Thank you to everyone for your help with things to do in L.A., we have extended our rental car from one day to two and a half days, so we'll have more flexibility with our agenda. I am very excited to see California. We have not sat down and planned every detail, but I do know that having a burger at In n' Out is on the itinerary. (You don't have to tell me twice to eat a burger.)
I will be blogging while I am away, since I'll have time alone and I will be taking seventy million pictures. And you must sit with me and look at every picture - it's what good friends do.
For those that I promised postcards to, I have your addresses handy in my laptop. (if you would like me to send you a postcard, e-mail me your address.)
Wish me luck or come and help me, whichever you prefer.
I wish I could come help and THEN go to California in your suitcase. And eat an In-n-Out Burger and go hang out and have cocktails in the bar at the Loew's Hotel. have a wonderful time - I'm glad you're going to be blogging because I'll be able to live vicariously through you.

I'll actually be in LA this weekend also (although I'm not going to play, I'm going for a funeral.) Small world. My favorite thing to do in California is head over to Catalina Island. My Aunt used to live there. Her husband was an abalone fisherman and she helped him or worked as the mermaid for the glass bottom boat. (Sadly, it's actually her funeral I'm headed to tomorrow.) When they moved to the mainland, they kept their house. It's just one block from the beach - a two minute walk! She lets us sign up for a week in paradise every summer. I don't think that quite fits into your schedule! But if you ever get the chance...Catalina Island all the way!
Have fun on your trip!

Oh, so glad you'll be blogging there! Can't wait to hear all about it and see your pics.
Tell Rob Schneider I say hi. He bumped into me once (literally) at Whole Foods in L.A. ;) He's short.

Oh YES...Catalina Island! You'll love it there! It's a MUST see! Love San Diego! Visit if you can! I used to live in Cerritos but that was when I was 4 years old until 8. I remember Knott's Berry Farm :) and of course Disney Land. Good times :) But Catalina Island and San Diego I had the pleasure of visiting when I was in college.....oh the memories!
Who would I like to meet...gosh, I don't think any famous person really. I'd rather meet some of the incredible women I've met online....they seem more like HERO'S to me than any famous personality.
Have a GREAT time in CA!
P.S. I enjoyed a yummy enchirito today from Taco Bell in honor of you and your boys :) It was delicious! It amazed me that after I ate it my migraine disappeared. Hmmmm, go figure! I'd like to think your boys had something to do with it(of course it could be that I've been suffering since Sunday with it BUT.....I'd like to think it was because I was eating at Taco Bell because of you and your little ones and you all helped me ;) THANKS!

My sister says that she sees celebrities at the Starbucks in Malibu all the time.
BTW, celebrity etiquette says that you are totally allowed to ask for an autograph and/or a picture, but you are NEVER allowed to take a picture without asking. Just sayin'...

Don't forget to take in a CA sunset on the beach or from a vista point if you can!
Get milkshakes to go with your Double Doubles. If you or Brian like grilled onions on your burgers, ask for "animal style".
Since you'll have the car, there are notable comedy clubs are close by in Hollywood and on Sunset Blvd. You might have some celebrity sightings there too.
I know you'll have a blast :) Have a safe trip!
